All too often in life, we come across challenges and obstacles that may feel overwhelming and difficult for us to face alone. And although starting the process of finding the right healthcare provider can oftentimes feel complicated or challenging, Lao Tzu tells us that “A journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.” If you’re looking for a doctor to assist you with psychiatric medication management, I would be happy to help you achieve your goals. Let’s take those first steps together in a supportive and caring way.

I have the technical and scientific expertise you’re looking for, but more than that, I have the ability to listen compassionately. Many of my patients say my approach is refreshing and new. I love working with my patients, and what makes me happiest of all is seeing them turn their lives around.

A little more about me – I was born in a small town in Massachusetts. I attended Stanford University and then worked as a patient advocate. I attended the University of Cincinnati School of Medicine, where I graduated in 1999. I am Board Certified in Family Medicine and completed a Fellowship in Integrative Psychiatry in 2020. I have worked in many settings: psychiatry at Kaiser, family medicine at Kaiser, community clinics, county clinics, a student health center, and urgent care. I am now focusing exclusively on mental health because that is my calling. I am approachable, warm, and open about my own experience, strength, and hope.
